Dr. Woodson then attended the University of Oklahoma Medical School, graduating in 1977 in the top 10% of his class. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor medical society, in his junior year. Post-graduate training included a residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Woodson is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology, and is a member of the American Medical Association and of the Oklahoma Medical Association, and is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He also is involved in teaching Family Practice residents of the University of Oklahoma. He has practiced in Lawton since 1982. Dr. Woodson and his wife Christie have four children. They are active
in their church, the community, the schools, and the lives of each of
their family members. His personal interests include travel, fitness,
sports (particularly baseball and his latest endeavor, golf), and reading. |
